Aug 31, 2014

Category: General Photograpy

Greeting folks.  The following images were taken at Petrie Island, and Mer Bleu during a nature walk a few of the members took.

The walk started at the Saint Anthony Padua Church on the corner of Gladstone and Booth/Marconi.  The Ottawa Fire Department band can be seen playing.

Nature Walk

Aug 31, 2014

Category:

Some of the CCO members decided to try for a nice sun rise at Petrie Island and go for a small nature walk and see what could be found.

As some of the members, namely myself, were a little to comfortable in bed the group started out at Saint Anthony Padua Church on the corner of Gladstone and Booth/Marconi.  The band was the Ottawa Fire Department band.

From there the group headed over to Petrie Island to try and find the sun rise, and see if DInh may fall out of the canoe. (no such luck, he is simply too skilled!)

We were even lucky enough to have a blue heron come visit.

Next... Part Two where we venture to Mer Bleu!
